Description
Sfakianakis Group, a leader in automotive services and mobility solutions, is seeking an Accountant to join its Finance Team:
Role Responsibilities:
- Performs monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities
- Monitors deadlines and ensures compliance with internal accounting procedures
- Corrects errors through adjustment entries
- Executes month-end closing and participates in the submission of periodic reports
- Prepares files for monthly and annual tax filings (VAT, corporate income tax, withholding taxes, etc.)
- Ensures compliance with myDATA requirements
- Assists in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Prepares supporting documentation for statutory auditors and supports audit procedures
Requirements:
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant field. MSc or/and Professional Qualification will be considered an asset
- 7+ years of working experience in a similar role with knowledge of Greek GAAP, tax laws, regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)
