As an Ecommerce Conversion and Retention Specialist, your primary focus will be to optimize and enhance the conversion rates and customer retention strategies for an ecommerce business. You will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to analyze customer behavior, implement effective conversion optimization tactics, and develop strategies to retain and nurture customers throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Analyze website and sales funnel performance to identify areas for improvement. Conduct A/B testing, user testing, and data analysis to optimize landing pages, product pages, checkout process, and other key conversion points by utilizing relevant usability testing tools. Implement strategies to increase conversion rates, reduce abandonment in various funnel steps of our website, and improve overall user experience
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track and measure key metrics related to conversion rates, customer engagement, and retention. Generate reports and provide insights to stakeholders on performance trends, opportunities for improvement, and the impact of optimization efforts. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies accordingly
- Co-lead the development and product strategy of our B2B website
- Customer Journey Mapping: Understand the customer journey and identify pain points, barriers, and opportunities for enhancing the conversion process and customer retention. Develop customer journey maps and identify touchpoints where improvements can be made to increase customer satisfaction and drive repeat purchases
- Collaborative Approach: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, UX/UI design, product management, and customer support to ensure alignment and seamless execution of conversion and retention strategies. Provide guidance and expertise to stakeholders on conversion best practices and customer retention tactics.
- Industry Research and Benchmarking: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to ecommerce conversion and retention. Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking to identify innovative approaches and new opportunities to differentiate the business
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field ,
- Proven experience in ecommerce conversion rate optimization, customer retention, or digital marketing roles ,
- Analytical skills with experience in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms such as Hotjar ,
- A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills – able to find solutions in complex situations and involve various stakeholder ,
- Experience with Microsoft Office, JIRA, similar PM tools and Miro (optionally) ,
- Experience in testing, user testing, and data analysis techniques ,
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and content management systems ,
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills , ,
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement ,
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment ,
