The Role
As a Financial Analyst at Public Group, you will be a pivotal member of our dynamic sales team, responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with key accounts. This role involves frequent face-to-face interactions with clients, understanding their unique business needs, and delivering tailored solutions to drive business growth. If you are a results-driven individual with a knack for building lasting business partnerships, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our success in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and control the performance of the company’s specific business channels
- Drive short- and long-term forecasts and budget construction
- Monitor operational costs and KPIs, identifying trends and deviations
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, supporting data collection and validation
- Provide insightful commentary on key business indicators and performance drivers
- Support the development of ad hoc analyses and presentations for internal stakeholders
- Partner with key stakeholders across functions to support decision-making and business growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; MSc/MBA is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in a financial analyst role
- Experience in Retail or multi-location business is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP/BI tools
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Commercial, methodical and strategic concept
- Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple requests
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
