We are recruiting an R&D Specialist to join our plant in Ritsona, who will report directly to the R&D Manager, with the following main responsibilities:

• Conduct day-to-day research and development activities for cosmetic products
• Develop and optimize cosmetic formulations in line with company and market requirements
• Design, plan, and execute laboratory experiments to evaluate product performance, stability, and safety
• Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation (SOPs, technical reports, formulation records)
• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Control, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure smooth product development and compliance
• Monitor and analyze scientific literature, new raw materials, and emerging trends in the cosmetics market
• Apply strong analytical skills to interpret experimental data and support decision-making
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and cosmetic production best practices
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or equivalent
• 2+ Years of Laboratory experience in Cosmetics. Exposure in manufacturing or processing environment is preferred as well
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and the ability to research regulatory matters as needed
• Effective written and verbal English language
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Very good knowledge of lab and pilot processing equipment
• Good understanding of product development process and testing requirements for a cosmetic product from concept to launch
