Description
The Marketing Assistant supports the planning and execution of the company’s marketing activities, with a strong focus on client-facing communication and promotional activities for municipal clients, as well as the smooth day-to-day operation of the Marketing team.
The role involves close collaboration with the Marketing Manager, Account Manager, and Project Manager, contributing to campaigns, content creation, reporting, and other Marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a point of contact for client communication, supporting the coordination of marketing actions and assisting in the monitoring of contractual obligations, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Support the planning, execution, and reporting of social media and email marketing campaigns for the company and its municipal clients
- Create, adapt, and publish content across channels (social media, newsletters, digital and print material)
- Write and edit marketing copy for campaigns, social posts, emails, and promotional material
- Assist with the management of social media accounts, including knowledge and hands-on support for social media advertising
- Collect, track, and analyse campaign performance metrics (KPIs) and contribute to marketing reports
- Support event management activities, including conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and promotional events
- Organise and maintain marketing assets (digital files, templates, content libraries)
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (designers, agencies) to deliver marketing materials
- Provide general support to the Marketing team and contribute to ongoing marketing initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in a marketing or communications role
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and basic social media advertising
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
Highly Appreciated
- Design knowledge and hands-on experience with tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
