We are currently looking for a Design Manager to join our team in our Thessaloniki Offices.
By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in the management of technical projects and coordination of the team. You will create detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
Your role will encompass:
- Involvement in all development stages of PV projects
- Design Review
- Electrical Systems design and review
- Responsible for the technical (engineering) review of the bidding projects
- Review of Contract technical annexes
- Define equipment specifications
- Coordinate the day-to-day tasks with the team members to reach the Project’s goals and meet the deadlines
- Monitor and Control the Design Deliverables of the Project
- Grid regulations review
- Engineering deliverables scheduling: create and monitor the schedule of design/engineering deliverables in order to ensure alignment and the successful completion of deadlines and milestones
- Design Review: Provide technical solutions that are on-time and on-budget
- Work with local consultants for projects around the world to derive the scope of supply and scope of works
- Communicate and participate in meetings with Clients, Technical Advisors, Engineering Firms
- Provide technical support and solutions during construction and O&M phase
- Assist with drafting the scope of work
- Experience in technical management of PV Projects
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or other related Engineering fields ,
- Excellent knowledge of Autocad, PVSyst, Electrical Design, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) ,
- Proven track record of 3+ years of PV, BESS, MV-HV electrical installations ,
- Electrical Licensing preferred but not essential ,
- Fluency in English ,
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills ,
- Excellent organizational and time management skills ,
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills ,
- Self-motivated with demonstrated problem-solving skills ,
- Strong business acumen ,
- Ability to work under pressure ,
