As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking to welcome a Head of Financial Controlling to our team, who will be responsible for:
- Leading, inspiring, and developing the Financial Controlling team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Driving the planning cycle, overseeing budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term business planning processes
- Analyzing financial performance (P&L, margins, cost variances) and deviations from targets, providing well-founded insights and recommendations for senior leadership team
- Overseeing production cost controlling, monitoring operational efficiency and identifying opportunities for optimization
- Establishing and enhancing financial and operational KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to support data-driven decision-making
- Acting as a strategic business partner, supporting key decisions through robust business cases, profitability analyses, and CAPEX evaluations
- Contributing to pricing strategies, promotional effectiveness, and overall portfolio profitability
- Collaborating closely with Production, Logistics, Sales, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment between financial performance and operational execution
- Safeguarding the integrity of financial processes by ensuring adherence to internal controls, policies, and governance standards
- Partnering closely with Accounting during the monthly closing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
- Delivering high-quality reports and presentations to senior management and executive stakeholders
- Leading and contributing to transformation initiatives, including process optimization, automation, and the implementation of advanced BI tools
Requirements
What you bring:
- BSc in Finance, Accounting, Economics or any related field Bs in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g. ACCA) will be considered an asset
- Min 8 years of experience in Financial Controlling and/or FP&A roles, including proven team leadership, within a manufacturing or industrial environment (ideally in food or FMCG)
- Deep expertise in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, performance management and reporting
- Strong leadership presence, with the ability to influence, challenge, and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
- A strategic mindset, coupled with a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail
- Reliability, adherence to deadlines, and a track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complexity and prioritize effectively
- Advanced computer literacy, including MS Office (especially Excel), ERP systems (SAP), and preferably BI tools
- Excellent command of Greek and English, both in writing and speaking
