Description
TERNA S.A., the construction company of GEK TERNA Group seeks to hire a: BIM Manager
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design and implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM), the Digital Construction procedures at the design, construction and handover stages of a project
- Acts as the intermediary between designers, clients and architects aiming at project’s efficiency
- Works closely with BIM coordinators, responsible for producing project information models
- Ensures that BIM execution plans are produced and maintained for each project
- Trains or upskills colleagues in specific software programs
- Produces monthly reports for senior managers, to identify and measure BIM implementation
- Keeps up-to-date with advancements in building technology and adheres to the latest industry standards
- Drives the implementation of digital information plans and strategies
- Leads meetings to identify project tasks and resolves issues
- Oversees BIM budgets
- Raises the profile of BIM across departments and teams
Required Qualifications:
- BSc in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent ,
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience in BIM Implementation, 5 of them in complex projects and developing models ,
- Proficient user in a range of BIM Authoring and proprietary Software applications, such as Navisworks, Revit, BIM 360 or similar ,
- Excellent understanding of legal and contractual guidelines ,
- Fluency in English language (oral and written) ,
