TERNA S.A., a GEK TERNA Group company, is looking for a: Procurement Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

Selects and contracts suppliers for materials and subcontracted works related to Building and Infrastructure projects.
Conducts market research in Greece and abroad to identify and evaluate suitable suppliers for materials and subcontracting.
Prepares comparative assessment tables and evaluates technical and financial offers for procurement and subcontracting packages.
Participates in the preparation, negotiation, and review of technical and commercial terms in supply and subcontracting agreements.
Defines the required material specifications and prepares purchase orders and contractual documents.
Maintains organized records of all technical and financial offers, as well as a structured supplier evaluation register.
Monitors compliance with delivery schedules throughout the procurement cycle, from order placement to material receipt.
Ensures adequacy and timely availability of required material stock for ongoing and upcoming project needs
Conducts visits to suppliers domestically and internationally to assess materials and support selection decisions.
Collaborates with Technical Directors and Project Managers to determine the most suitable materials for each project.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a procurement department or in construction site/technical office roles within Building or Infrastructure projects
Very good command of English (oral and written)
Excellent command of MS Office suite
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
