Description
We invite you to join our passionate team at Fraport Greece! We are responsible for operating, managing, and upgrading 14 Regional Airports in the most attractive destinations in Greece!
If you feel fit the requirements of the role, apply for the position of “Security Duty Officer” for Kos Airport under a Fixed-Term Contract.
What you will be doing:
- Μonitor the implementation of the Airport Security Program, the Standard Operation Procedures, and Work Instructions.
- Actively participate, in emergencies or other occurrences threatening the Security or normal operations of the airport.
- Monitor the attendance of the security personnel and the proper staffing of security points, verify the shift’s security hours schedule, and inform accordingly the Security Supervisor and Airport Duty Manager.
- Take measures and actions to prevent operational disruptions, ensuring operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a continuous line of communication with the SM, Duty Manager of the security services provider, to ensure the proper execution of the assigned tasks in compliance with the Airport’s Security Program.
- Respond to and assist the Police in emergency situations, under the Security Supervisor’s directions and guidance.
- Respond to ID card requests in the absence of ID Card Officers, upon availability.
Requirements
Do you fulfill the required skills?
- High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field will be considered an asset.
- A 3-5 years of solid professional experience in Aviation Security.
- Excellent knowledge of the HCAA’s requirements and procedures, in the field of Aviation Security.
- Previous experience in Airport operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Driving License Cat: B
- Fluency in Greek and English (oral and written at a professional corporate level).
- Fulfilled Military Obligations (if applicable).
