Avis Greece is on the hunt for an exceptional Procurement Coordinator who will play a key role in managing the indirect procurement of goods and services for the organization strategic sourcing. This position will help optimize spend, reduce costs, and ensure sourcing alignments with business needs.
Are you an expert in solid understanding of procurement sourcing, vendor management and cost optimization, with the opportunity to drive improvements and contribute to business growth? If so, this could be the ideal role for you.
🎯 Your Mission:
- Perform end-to-end procurement processes focusing on optimization of spend and reduction of cost.
- Manage the receipt of purchasing requests, the conduction of tenders / Rfqs, the performance of negotiations and the execution of all relevant activities including Facility management and reporting.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sourcing processes, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with business needs, including vendor negotiations and performance management.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring suppliers fulfill performance standards.
- Able to work cross functional to analyze demand and ensure efficient monitoring.
- Assist in e-sourcing annual events.
- Participate in relevant project management activities.
- Understand the relevant product and service categories and conduct market research for potential suppliers.
Requirements
🌟 What Spells Success: Your Qualifications
- Educational Background: University degree in Business Studies. A related master will be considered as an asset.
- Experience: 3 years of working experience in the fields of Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Engineering, Purchasing, Category Management.
- Analytical Skills: Excel in using MS-Office applications. Knowledge of an e-sourcing platform will be considered as an asset.
- Team Player: Exhibit a strong team spirit, ethical conduct, and reliability while also being capable of working independently.
- Work ethic: Ability to deliver high quality results meeting established standards and business expectations.
- Analytical Thinking: Showcase advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Initiative: Strategic planning, sourcing and negotiation experience.
- Communication: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
