We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our Accounting Team based in Athens.
As an Accountant you will be responsible for overseeing the general accounting operations by controlling & verifying our financial transactions.
Your Key Responsibilities will be to:
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Post invoices, payments and other Journal Entries
- Prepare financial analysis and reports
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Reconciliation of Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Process payments and support day to day operations
- Assist with annual audit preparations
Requirements
- BSc degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-5 years of proven experience as an Accountant
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent command of the English language both written and oral
- Good knowledge of Accounting principles
- Accuracy and attention to detail
