Lamda Networks looking for a Software Engineer
Lamda Networks (www.lamdanetworks.com) is an SME established in 2017. We provide cutting-edge technology in network management solutions using Artificial Intelligence technologies.
Our main product is Intelligent Resource Management (IRMA) which provides in-house software used for optimizing core and edge network resources via deep learning methods enhanced with reinforcement learning algorithms. Most components are written in Python and Kubernetes is used as orchestrator.
We are looking for a Software Engineer who works full-time for our Research and Innovation department which collaborates with our core product development team.
Location of the applicant:
The applicant should be located in Greece, preferably in Attica. Work is remote but the applicant should be able to visit the project management team on a weekly/monthly basis at the company’s offices in Amaroussion (Maroussi), Attica, Greece.
Must have:
- Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- MSc and /or PhD in Computer Science are considered a significant plus
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the software development of our research and innovation projects.
- Collaborate with senior software engineers of our commercial product.
- Participate in collaboration meetings in Europe (3-4 travels per year).
Software Engineer
Required skills:
- At least 3 years of professional experience using Python
- At least 2 years of experience with python’s web frameworks, mainly with Django and Flask
- At least 2 years of experience with Git and CI/CD tools
- At least 3 years of experience with Linux and Docker container framework
- At least 1-year of experience with Google cloud tools or AWS tools
- Excellent English writing and communication skills
Nice to have:
- mongoDB
- Kafka
- Angular
