The Role

Are you a highly analytical individual with a passion for working collaboratively with teams? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Workforce/Resource Planning Analyst in our team.

Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for the optimization of the workforce planning to constantly improve our staffing levels, provide recommendations on actions to be taken on store level, plan the relevant actions, and track and assess their impact.

• Forecasts, plans, and analyzes store shifts and staffing levels, using our Workforce Management (WFM) tool, BI (Business Intelligence) tools and spreadsheets
• Participates, as needed, in in-store motion study, activity based, and other analysis including interviews with customers and employees and use the data to further understand areas of improvement to help improve the quality of our WFM process as well as the efficiency of the store staff in general while securing or enhancing our service to the customer
• Learns, understands, and helps improve the algorithm of the WFM tool
• Analyzes data and presents key insights from a large number of support data. Liaises with Operations, HR, and Finance to develop actions, plans and strategies, to continuously optimize our forecasting and efficiency in stores both using quantitative analysis and business understanding of store operations.
• Shifts scheduling and performance management processes, balances operational needs, budgeting, and employee experience

Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• BSc in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field ,
• Approximately 6 years of relevant experience workforce planning ,
• Experience in using WFM/Shift scheduling tools (not just for daily scheduling but understanding and helping optimize the use) ,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (XLS) for data analysis and reporting ,
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written & oral ,
• Excellent analytical skills ,
• Effective communication skills & critical thinking, ,
• Strong learning agility & ability to adapt to changing priorities ,
• Enthusiasm & self-motivation ,

Desirable qualifications:

• MSc in relevant field
• Experience with retail sales will be considered an asset, while experience from other industries or functions where WFM plays a key role can be equally relevant
• Project management experience implementing the results of your analysis will be considered an asset
• Teamwork
• Results orientation & ability to take initiatives
