As a Technical Product Owner in Public NEXT’s Tech Transformation team, you will work closely with the development teams to monitor internal systems, gain insights about their use, prioritize their roadmap, and own the delivery of respective product & service changes.

You will also work with the Group’s business x-functional teams in joint initiatives, from creating the tech roadmaps, to tracking project progress, and measuring the delivered impact. In this role, you will be supporting the mission of Tech Transformation team in PublicNEXT, to elevate the way IT operates, collaborates, and delivers end-to-end products & services that delight Public’s Customers, Partners and Employees.

Responsibilities:

• Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and retail best practices. Leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and continuously improve our technology solutions.
• Collaborate with Business Management and Tech teams to form prioritized product backlogs, based on business value and strategic objectives.
• Work closely with business units and cross functional teams to gain an in-depth understanding of their business processes. Translate business needs into clear and actionable user stories, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria for the development team.
• Proactively and continuously look for opportunities to improve on business processes affecting external and internal customers across multiple systems.
• Hands-on managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, including scope definition, project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and delivery. Ensure projects are completed within agreed-upon timelines and budget constraints.
• Work closely with the QA and User Acceptance teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria, ensuring that the delivered solutions meet the required quality standards.
• Lead workshops and sessions to identify process inefficiencies and innovations that can make a difference in the experiences of our Customers, Partners, and Employees.
• Identify and track the appropriate metrics and analyse the business impact with the corresponding contributors.
• Facilitate sprint planning sessions with the development team to define tasks and set achievable goals. Conduct sprint reviews to gather feedback, demonstrate deliverables, and iterate on system improvements.

Requirements

• Experience in a Digital Transformation or PMO team, or as a Tech Project Management Experience in a Digital Consultancy or an organisation offering IT Services to Business ,
• Solid Digital Tech and IT Systems understanding. Most likely you were a developer in your early career, or you had hands on experience in development or tech analysis ,
• Experience with business process design and implementation projects across business units ,
• Self-motivated individual with a mindset of innovation and the ability to prioritize tasks & meet deadlines at a top-notch quality level. ,
• Very good communication skills, and ability to convey messages while also challenging ideas & assumptions ,
• Experience with Agile methodologies and practices ,
• Experience in retail business is a plus ,
