Responsibilities:

• Install, create, manage, upgrade the company’s Oracle and Mongo DBs
• Work together with programmers, applications/operational staff, IT project managers and other technical staff to design and implement DB solutions that meet project requirements and users’ needs
• Ensure data security, privacy and integrity
• Monitor DB health and ensure high availability
• Plan and manage DB storage/tablespace capacity
• Perform data backups and migrations
• Troubleshooting and support

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience as Oracle DBA
• University degree in Computing or other technological direction
• Very good knowledge of Oracle technologies
• Very good knowledge in the following areas: DB security, Data backup/restore, Clustering, replication and load balancing, Disaster recovery
• Experience in DB performance tuning, Index & Query optimization
• Experience in Mongo DB or other NoSQL database
• Problem solving skills
• Team spirit and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language (written and verbal)

Desirable Qualifications:

• Basic Linux OS administration
• Familiarity with DB application development and client application technologies
• Dynamism, enthusiasm, and passion for the best result
• High sense of responsibility and detail oriented
• Experience in JIRA
