Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a Direct Procurement Officer (fixed term) for the Direct Procurement department in our Marousi premises.
As a Direct Procurement Officer, the ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing Procurement Strategy as well as create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
What you will do:
Participate in sourcing activity and new collaboration agreements for commercial and new product development projects (R&D support)
Facilitate, negotiate with, and manage suppliers & contractors to secure the most advantageous terms
Provide transparent reporting on procurement activities on potential savings in the category (action plan, status, current supplier, new supplier, prices)
Maintain excellent communication & collaboration with internal and external customers to ensure clarity of their expectations and secure sustainable procurement process even in crisis situations
Monitor, evaluate and improve supplier performance, according to an appropriate Service Level Agreement, on a continuous basis through KPIs in order to decide whether or not to continue collaboration
Actively provide support in solving daily issues with suppliers/vendors in case necessary
Participate in the entire budget estimation and sourcing operations
Contract management of a new and existing suppliers/vendors
Ensure proper data management in SAP in close collaboration with Central Planning, Production and Finance
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, or related field preferred
At least 1-3 years’ experience in direct procurement or planning department of industrial products

Ability to perform in a team environment under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to scope, plan and manage projects
Ability to work and communicate with various levels of management

Team player but also able to work independently and set up priorities
Excellent time management, strategic thinking. Using logic and reasoning to identify a problem and find solution
