The Greek leading Biscuits & Bakery company Ε.J. PAPADOPOULOS S.A.  is seeking to employ a talented, experienced, driven & committed:

National Account Manager  to join the Sales team in Athens, reporting to Sales Manager

The role:

As a National Account Manager (NAM), you will be leading the commercial agreements and total company portfolio for specific National Retailers thus building the business and organizational growth within your area of responsibility.

You will design and execute a Joint Business Plan which will enable strong and sustainable collaboration with the assigned Accounts, building disproportionate Value for the Categories we serve. Finally, you will act as an ambassador of our Company’s Values and Principles building trust and respect with counterparts and the Market itself.

How you will contribute:

You will be responsible to :

Deliver sales and profit targets

Design and agree on a winning, annual Joint Business Plan with National Retailers

Engage the internal teams to serve your Retailers’ needs, always differentiating based on Shopper needs and Customer tools

Regularly review and address the needs to deliver excellence in execution and value for our Retailers and the business

Ensure we serve Shopper needs across National Retailers’ channels, simplifying shopper trip

Work closely with the Retailers’ commercial team on how to address key opportunities like basket value, closure rate and trade-up while also collaborating to resolve issues like Out of Stock

Work closely with Regional Sales Managers on how to maximize results across the country

Analyze, design, maximize trade spending behind Strategic Revenue Management

Support and coach field sales teams with your area of responsibility


What you will bring:

At least 10 years of experience in various and key Sales Roles

People and Teams’ management; coaching and growing people supporting the diversity and inclusion mindset

Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Marketing preferably – MS will be considered as a plus

Proficiency command of English

Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Analytical skills that enable the right choices and business decisions

Innovative thinking and Problem solving

Self-discipline, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Ability to plan for contingencies and be flexible when a project direction changes

A high degree of personal and professional ethics and integrity
