Description
MYTILINEOS is a leading global industrial and energy company with a strong presence in all five continents covering two business Sectors, the Energy Sector and the Metallurgy Sector is currently seeking to hire a Regulatory Affairs Officer.
Main Responsibilities:
- Actively advises the Regulatory Advocacy & EU Affairs Directorate in all regulatory and legal matters that relate to national regulatory law (energy, industry, competition, taxation, environmental matters, funding etc.)
- Actively supports the Regulatory Advocacy & EU Affairs Directorate in lobbying activities in Greece, including contributions to public consultations, debates, workshops, conferences, participation in associations, interaction with Officials (Ministries, NRA, TSOs, Power Exchange etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance or Engineering
- Postgraduate Degree
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory issues (in particular on energy -gas & power-, climate and competition) in the Greek (and regional) market. Good knowledge of the European energy market will be considered a plus.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language. Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines according to the organizational needs
- High professionalism and great attention to detail are essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Result oriented
