Description

MYTILINEOS a leading industrial company with a strong international presence in four Business Units, Metallurgy, Sustainable Engineering Solutions, Power & Gas, and Renewables & Storage Development is currently seeking to hire a Logistics Specialist.

Main Responsibilities:

The Logistics Specialist will deal with the transportation, shipping, storing or warehousing, and receipt of goods and services. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Editing and reviewing of transport contracts
• Issuance of shipping documentation, customs clearance and communication with all relevant parties in order to organize door to door transportation of goods
• Developing reports including transport status, transport cost, insurance declarations etc

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or relevant field. A master’s degree in Logistics, Shipping or Transportation Management is desirable
• 3+ years experience in logistics management or coordination in a construction, freight forwarder or shipping company
• Excellent knowledge of international transportation of goods and customs’ processes and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of international trade processes, practices and transactions
• Previous experience dealing with letters of credit and familiarity with chartering terms and conditions is desirable
• Fluency in English is essential
• Fluency in French would be an advantage
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
