We are looking for experienced and proactive Site Engineers (Mechanical, Electrical and Civil) to join its construction team and manage the construction of key projects. The successful candidate reports to the Site Manager and works closely with the site engineers and supervisors within METKA EGN, as well as externally with the subcontractors to ensure on schedule completion and compliance with the company’s high-quality and HSE standards.

This is a site-based position that requires regular trips to various sites in North Greece. Anywhere in that region is possible for the selected applicant to reside.

Your role will encompass:

• Reviewing construction schedules based on design and engineering information, guiding project completion, and leading subcontractors while reporting to management.
• Ensuring work aligns with METKA-EGN’s expectations and contracts.
• Developing relationships with various stakeholders for timely project deliverables.
• Overseeing site work to meet contractual obligations and standards.
• Coordinating with various departments for project success.
• Ensuring HSE compliance and preparing periodic reports.
• Reviewing contractors’ plans and aligning them with project requirements.
• Assessing construction progress against milestones, suggesting necessary changes.
• Handling subcontractor quotes and overseeing site conditions.
• Conducting site audits to ensure work completion aligns with plans and safety guidelines.
• Adhering strictly to safety policies and company standards.
• Assisting Site Managers in verifying subcontractors’ monthly progress claims.
• Demonstrating strong communication and attendance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in either Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil ,
• Deep knowledge in electrical and mechanical works, civil or otherwise. ,
• Proven track record in the construction of solar parks with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in large-scale solar parks (minimum 1MW) ,
• Working knowledge of MS Office. ,
• Languages: English is essential ,
• Ability to operate in a highly technical or particularly complex field ,
