We are currently looking for a Senior Operations Manager to join our Operations & Control team as part of our M Power Projects Division in our Athens offices.
By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in leading improvement of operations on all levels and phases throughout projects, future or existing. You’ll supervise, assess and guide all activities of Operations sub-division. Establishing and assessing introduction of new operational tools/mechanisms.
Your role will encompass:
- Delegate, supervise, assess and guide all activities of Operations sub-division.
- Identifies bottlenecks in the flow of operations and plans necessary measures in order to avoid implications on ongoing activities.
- Oversee the progress/timetable of operations in relation to the activities and commitments of the division.
- Be in close cooperation with all MPP Divisions Directors, PDs.
- Establish the introduction of new tools/mechanisms for key operating procedures.
- Represent MPP in Continuous Improvement unified exercises driven by central Admin of Energy regarding various issues, i.e., the Automation of the Project Lifecycle Management System.
- Work closely with MPP BPs and lead the solution of issues requested by CFs. Support CFs projects when an interface with MPP, e.g., Central HR and grading project, recruitment, performance assessment etc.
- Take initiatives in arranging and leading workshops/meetings to facilitate best practices application.
- Take initiatives in arranging training to educate the team.
What you bring to the role:
- At least 10 years of experience in similar positions. ,
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. ,
- Master’s Degree in Construction Management or Business Management as well as Project Management Qualifications will be considered an asset. ,
- Excellent command in English. ,
- Excellent use of Office suite. ,
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. ,
- Critical and strategical thinking. ,
