Description

MYTILINEOS is a leading global industrial and energy company with a strong presence in all five continents covering two business Sectors, the Energy Sector and the Metallurgy Sector, is currently seeking to hire a Treasury Officer-Middle Office.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with the Company’s Central Functions and Business Sectors, receives and assesses data input to calculate and report financial exposure per different market and organizational dimensions.
• Produces daily reports covering realized and unrealized P&L and risk metrics across various dimensions of the trading and hedging portfolios of FX, IR and Commodity derivatives, debt instruments and investment products.
• Monitors the compliance of the positions with the various types of limits in force and produces the related reports. Ensures that Front desk follows Treasury and Company Policies and Procedures.
• Assesses the impact of material hedging transactions and produces risk related analysis.
• Performs regular and ad hoc Simulation Analyses on the market and position data to assess the effect on the Company’s P&L and Liquidity and reports accordingly.
• Overviews data sources integrity, accuracy, and effectiveness for the financial instruments’ pricing.
• Supports the Treasury Management System in terms of business administration.
• Recommends and supports implementation of process improvements to standardize and streamline treasury controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics/Mathematics/Science
• Master’s degree in Finance or Economics
• A relevant Professional Certificate or working towards gaining one (CFA, PRM) will be highly regarded
• Use of Bloomberg knowledge
• Excellent use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• 7-10 years of relevant experience within Treasury/Risk Management/Treasury Middle Office or other relevant financial functions
• Fluency in English (speaking & writing) is essential
• Very good communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize, organize and take initiatives when necessary to reach milestones and meet deadlines
• A good team player
• Ambition and eagerness to learn and thrive; self-motivated
