This is a vendor role for 18 months. Your employer is a third party, in service of Microsoft.

As the Skilling Coordinator for Microsoft Greece, you will be responsible for driving and executing
our skilling plan with the aim to boost the digital skills of 100.000 people, across all 3 pillars,
the private sector, the public sector & students and general public.

As the Skilling Coordinator for Greece, you will become the central resource and owner
for in-country skilling and talent workforce lead, partnering closely with government stakeholders,
enterprises, academia and learning partners.  You will lead orchestration between Microsoft’s internal
and external stakeholders, landing impactful programs to generate the new technical talent
in the Greek market as to advance the skillsets of the current workforce and future generations.
The role will report directly into the Skilling Lead for Cyprus-Greece-Malta.

  • Build further and execute on our national skilling plan, encompassing identified stakeholders
    in-country as a priority-reach audience for workforce skilling, leveraging worldwide learning programs,
    local Government initiatives and resources and learning partners.
  • Orchestrate and monitor the end-to-end recruitment, learning and readiness programs across all
    contributors and stakeholders, including senior business leaders, through a regular virtual team
    and governance rhythm. Establish required business rhythms with Leadership, government entities,
    key stakeholders and key influencers in the Country, internally and externally to the company,
    acting as trusted advisor for learning and skills development. Demonstrate thought leadership in contributing to our local Government, Microsoft’s and partner competitiveness through learning.
  • Represent Microsoft in C-level customer, partner and Government engagements to share our voice and vision for enablement through technical and non-technical learning, in close alignment with the account teams.
    Analyse and understand market needs and play an active role in defining recruitment, development and learning programs for government, academia, partners and customers.
  • Identify local skills readiness gaps, assess for scale learning application, and create an action plan to escalate and address as appropriate.
  • Serve as relevant and informed voice of the Field learning champion; oversee skills dashboard
    and performance measurement, gather relevant local feedback and provide insights to contribute to Microsoft’s worldwide learning evolution.
  • 5+ years broad business experience and project lead in skilling, project management or services environment,
    ideally within the IT industry. Learning and capability development experience desirable.
  • In-depth experience with local industry, technical, and professional skills knowledge and sales capabilities.
    Familiarity with Microsoft offerings (products and cloud services), processes, and tools preferred.
  • Proven trusted advisor status in engagement and influence with senior private sector and government leaders.
    Experience in change management and leading complex, organization-wide programs and projects.
  • Excellent communications skills and executive presence; ability to represent Microsoft and be inspirational and influential in mobilizing customers, partners, communities and our internal teams around a culture of learning.
  • Proven cross-boundary collaboration capabilities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability with an ability to manage through ambiguity and positively manage conflict to drive positive business results.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a remote team, driving successful outcomes with virtual teams.
  • English language fluency.
