The Role

As a Financial Data Analyst in the Finance department, you will be part of our Financial Planning and Analysis team,
working with data in order to identify insights and compile analytical reports to enable sound decision making.
The Financial Data Analyst is working closely with business partners to collect information from other departments
within the company and improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for improvement of tactical reporting, while maintaining data accuracy
• Consolidate and analyze financial data, assessing the effectiveness of the company’s initiatives
• Design financial models to perform repetitive tasks in an efficient and error-free fashion
• Create queries, write reports and present findings
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
• Develop process improvement solutions that make use of Excel/VBA/Power BI to automate procedures

The ideal candidate should have

• BSc and/or MSc Degree in Finance, Economics or any other related field
• 3+ years of proven working experience in financial data analysis
• Knowledge of SAP FI/CO or SAP Analytics Cloud is essential
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Power BI, including writing DAX
• An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
• Ability to pay attention to detail, communicate efficiently and be highly organised
• Good business acumen along with good interpersonal skills
