The Role
We are looking for a TMS Application Expert who will specialize in the distribution processes, covering both middle and last mile areas, on new state-of-the-art distribution platforms. The person to fit this role will collaborate with other IT and business teams to manage business needs from the analysis to the design process, to the implementation and testing phases to ensure a successful roll out on the production platform(s), achieving project objectives. Moreover, user support and coaching will be within their responsibilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Work agile with other company’s teams to define and maintain Business Objectives Success
- Design and implement functional and technical solutions which meet business requirements
- Participate in system training documentation and user training and coaching
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to TMS Platforms
- Provide production support to ensure stability and business continuity
- Support all distribution system flows and integrations with different systems
- Coordinate and participate in platform maintenance tasks, change releases on the TMS platforms
- Ability to work on call
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years’ experience on supporting and programming on TMS platforms
- Expertise in problem solving and analysing business processes across applications and functions
- Experience in SAP TMS, SAP SD will be considered as additional competitive advantage
- MS Azure Cloud development skills (.NET) will be considered a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams
- Ability to deliver results on time with high quality
