As Department Manager, you work at the heart of the store, creating an environment that inspires customers to explore their personal style and together with the store team to offer the most exciting Customer Experience. With the store management team, you ensure that all employees’ relations, responsibilities, legal requirements, and H&M policies are fulfilled.

Προσόντα

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and follow up Sales & Profit KPIs for your department and together with the Visual Merchandisers you take action to maximize sales
• Together with your Store Management team, you ensure scheduling for your department maximizes conversion and is within the frame of the hours plan and sales budget
•  Ensure high quality, commercial garment presentation together with the Visual Team
• Ensure Store Operations & Best Practices are followed in your department and throughout the store
•  Inform your Store Manager of any potential risks, threats and opportunities related to the competitor landscape
•  Ensure that your department team is providing excellent customer service and maximizing sales opportunities in all areas of the store through effective coaching
• Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
• Manage the recruitment, training, development, and succession planning for your team, supporting the business needs
•  Evaluate and manage the performance of your team, execute dialogues, development plans, follow-up and take any appropriate action to improve performance and develop your team
• Ensure clear communication with your team on business performance, company culture and store and department goals
•  Ensure that Health & Safety, legal and security issues are being handled in accordance with H&M standards and local laws, ensuring employee and customer safety always
• Strengthen our company culture by promoting feedback in our daily work and coach your team to do the same

Skills and Experience:

• Team player, enjoy teamwork and cross-collaboration with the other members of the management team.
•  Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with ability to inspire and motivate team members to offer a great customer experience.
• Open-minded, flexible and adaptable to changes.
• Delegate, follow up and provide feedback to support the development of the team.
• Similar professional experience would be an asset.
• Good knowledge of English language.
