 HELLENIC CABLES is seeking a Project Engineer

to join our dynamic & fast-growing Project Management Office.

As a Project Engineer, you will be a highly trained engineer with a proven history of project management.

Moreover, you will need to have great communication & negotiations skills, as well as the responsibility for maintaining Fulgor’s standard of excellence and delivering projects with the utmost attention to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management
• Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors
• Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates
• Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems
• Controls project plan & project costs
• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
• Maintains project database according to the project schedule
• Maintains product and company reputation by complying with state regulations
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering
• Relevant working experience of up to 2 years will be considered as an asset
• Strong organization skills to prioritize workload
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate problems/opportunities and drive cost-effective solutions
• Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
• Good mathematical ability
• Results and action-oriented
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in German will be considered an asset
