Description
Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is seeking a Hotel Concierge to join its team. As a Hotel Concierge, you will arrange special services, provide local recommendations, and fulfill various guest requests with efficiency and professionalism. The role requires extensive knowledge of the local area, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle a wide range of tasks, from dining reservations to transportation arrangements with care by following the company’s SOPs. The Hotel Concierge reports directly to the Guest Services Manager or Front Office Manager. At Grecotel, we believe that our people are the cornerstone of our success. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel’s facilities and services.
- Provide personalized recommendations and assistance to guests regarding local attractions, restaurants, transportation, and other services.
- Make reservations for guests and arrange for transportation, tours, and other activities.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and effectively.
- Handle and resolve guest complaints or issues, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and requests.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Concierge or similar role in a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of the local area and attractions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages will be considered as an asset
