Description
Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join its team. As a Warehouse Manager, you will direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations as well as oversee the efficient receipt, storage and value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly taken care of by following the company’s SOPs. The Warehouse Manager reports directly to the Hotel Manager. At Grecotel, we believe that our people are the cornerstone of our success. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, and dispatching of goods and supplies in the hotel warehouse.
- Ensure the accuracy of stock levels and maintain weekly and monthly inventory reports.
- Coordinate with other departments to place orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the warehouse and storage areas.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff and provide coaching and feedback for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage logistical coordination between the warehouse, purchasing, and accounting departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Proficient in computer software applications such as MS Office and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
