Field Sales Executive

Viva Wallet is an entirely cloud-based neobank offering merchants in 23 countries, payment services that change the way merchants pay and get paid. Viva Wallet provides businesses of all sizes card acceptance services through innovative Smart Android terminals or the new Android Viva Wallet POS app and through its advanced payment gateway in online stores. It also offers business accounts with local IBAN and a business Viva Wallet Mastercard card. Viva Wallet branches in 23 European countries.

As a member of the Client Acquisition Team in Viva Wallet, you will be providing a first-class face-to-face service in the field, aligned to customer needs and acting as a trusted partner in a defined geographical region.

Working as part of a small, well trained and fully supported international team of sales executives, enabled with cutting edge sales CRM technology and in-depth management team knowledge of field sales, selling highly competitive and innovative top-end products and services in the financial sector and meet achievable, realistic targets, you will have the opportunity to become a part of this fast-growing, PE-backed, highly ambitious financial products and services group that offers a stable, far-reaching career path in an inclusive teamwork-based progress environment.

More specifically, as a Field (Digital) Sales Executive, you will be based in Patras and you will be expected to:

  • Create and address lists of prospective customers, using own market knowledge and research, publicly available intelligence and references from existing customers;
  • Follow up on scheduled appointments and evaluating Contact Centre existing data and information about the prospect, build rapport and business relationship by visiting and in person validating the prospect current needs in relation to Viva Wallet offerings.;
  • Make a positive and compelling presentation of the products/ services driven by your in depth understanding of the market and the product / services features / advantages for the specific prospect;
  • Close by selling the group products / services;
  • Enter and update customer data / other useful information in the CRM system;
  • Provide technical guidance to the customer during his services set-up, both for physical terminals and for e-commerce solutions
  • Liaise with the internal technical support for higher complexity issues
  • Assist the customer with his KYC process
  • Schedule to deliver and install the card terminal in the client premises;
  • Provide feedback on contact center appointments quality;
  • Be eager to discuss and resolve issues with your area manager in order to achieve top sales results;
  • Undertake all relevant training and refresh training as relevant to your role;
  • Promote a team spirit and be able to learn from your colleagues;
  • Ensure permanent presence on the market and positive image of the offers of Viva Wallet
  • Represent a first contact point between the client and the internal departments for assigned clientele
  • Retain as many customers as possible by preventing migration to competition
  • At least 1 or 2 years of digital and ecommerce sales experience and track record in the acquisition of ecommerce and on line merchants,
  • Deep understanding of the retail, hospitality, freelancers and, in general, Card terminals users, market;

To be considered you should have:

  • Understanding of financial products / services features and advantages
  • Ability to understand, demonstrate and communicate web-based software products
  • Experience in working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems;
  • Outstanding negotiation / sales skills with proven closing ability;
  • Strong organizational and diary management skills;
  • Resiliency and the ability to handle objections;
  • The motivation to succeed, both personally and financially;
  • At least a bachelor’s degree
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Full, clean driving license
  • Excellent user of Greek & English


  • Previous sales experience in the Payment Services or Cards Terminals industry;
  • The ability to deal with a diverse client base
