Description
Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our Accounting team. Basic prior experience in a similar role is required, this role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment with real learning and development potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost accounting expertise in FMCG/manufacturing, including standard vs actual variance analysis.
- Strong understanding of Greek GAAP and statutory compliance (IFRS advantage).
- Experience with inventory, cost centers/allocations, and month-end/closing support.
- Excellent ERP/reporting capability and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; proactive, organized and deadline-driven.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics (or related field).
- Previous accounting experience in FMCG (required).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Dynamics) and good Excel skills.
- High accuracy, strong organization and attention to detail.
- Team player with good communication skills and proactive mindset.
- Master’s degree or professional certification (ACCA/CMA) is a plus.
