Responsibilities:
- Monitors and reconciles supplier balances
- Posts and clears general ledger accounts
- Maintains the ERP corporate customer records and issues invoices
- Checks the proper capitalization of expenses as fixed assets
- Supports audits conducted by internal and external auditors
- Checks and ensures the timely posting of supplier invoices
- Monitors investment expenditures across all activities, ensures their recording in the fixed asset registry and oversees their gradual depreciation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a University or College or Technological Educational Institute in Management and Economics or Economics-related field
- Master’s degree in Accounting will be considered an additional qualification
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience in structured accounting departments of a company or in an audit company, in areas related to the accounting monitoring of financial data
- Experience in the Energy sector will be considered an additional qualification
- Class A Certified Accountant-Tax Consultant license from the Economic Chamber of Greece
- Knowledge of the sector’s financial transactions (electricity market)
- Good knowledge of the application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) will be considered an additional qualification
- Knowledge of SAP/ERP
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet
- Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
