We are looking for a talented & passionate Business Analyst for the Commercial Planning Department.

• Analyse the weekly sales data across fascias & report back to the planning team each week with recommendations, highlighting market trends;
• Produce rolling trackers per fascia to capture key activities & activations to & provide rationale understand variations year on year;
• Produce monthly category overview for selected categories;
• Produce product & category level sales /stock reports;
• Report business metrics which will support business decision making e.g. returns, royalties, year end rebates;
• Contribute to building demand forecasting tools and budgeting;
• Work in conjunction with commercial planners to identify risks or opportunities to the stock levels at category/article level due to current sell out trend & highlight to buyers for quick decision making;
• Drive recommendations for additional daily business in co-operation with buying team;
• Support with ad hoc queries relating to category plans, sell out data & internal sales forecasting;
• Look to improve the information issued to senior management team, through systems e.g. BI;
• Work with Buying team to track performance of significant campaigns or new product launches;
• Communicate to vendors the monthly sell out reports;
• Maintain the retail target reporting;
• Support with creation of PowerPoint presentations related to product performance updates & management needs;

Requirements

• 2-3 years of proven work experience as Business Analyst or in a related role ,
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or Mathematics ,
• Excellent knowledge of Excel ,
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. ,
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.  ,
