Antenna Group is currently seeking, to cover the following position:
Multimedia Content Creator & News Editor
Multimedia Content Creator & News Editor is responsible for managing and overseeing digital news content to ensure accuracy, engagement, and timeliness. This role involves curating, editing, and publishing news stories while optimizing them for online audiences. Additionally, the role involves producing engaging video content for social media, which will also be featured on ant1news.gr. The position requires journalistic integrity, understanding of digital media trends, and the ability to drive audience engagement through compelling storytelling and strategic content management.
Job Description
- Curate, edit, and publish news content across digital platforms, ensuring accuracy and journalistic integrity
- Monitor breaking news and trending topics, updating stories in real time
- Collaborate with reporters, writers, and contributors to develop engaging online content
- Create high-quality videos for social media and online platforms
- Work closely with social media and multimedia teams to enhance news distribution and reader interaction
- Stay up to date with digital journalism trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in online news publishing
- Conducting interviews and producing exclusive stories.
- Curating, editing, and publishing news stories while optimizing them for online audiences
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- Experience in digital journalism, news editing, or online media management is considered a plus
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail
- Familiarity with video editing software
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines
- Knowledge of social media platforms and audience engagement strategies
- Strong communication and interviewing skills to produce exclusive stories
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High ethical standards, fitting with the Values of Antenna Group
